The fabric is recorded as 100% cotton, dark blue, 170 cm wide and woven in 3/1 right-hand twill. At approximately 152.6 GSM, it should be handled as a light apparel fabric: opacity, seam slippage and drape deserve more attention than rugged abrasion claims.

The 170 cm width is about 66.9 inches and can improve marker efficiency for broad dress panels, long sleeves or paired fronts when compared with a narrower cloth. The factory must still cost from usable width after removing selvedges and defects. Review the shade and surface under transmitted light, and confirm whether the current lot has a sanforized or other pre-shrink finish rather than assuming that all cotton denim is preshrunk.
